#OptOutside Mother & Daughter Style

According to Kelli, taking charge of her health, at the request of her daughter Sydnee, was one of the best decisions she’s ever made. It prompted her to join Black Girls Run! Chicago in 2013. Since becoming a member she’s completed 8 marathons, over 35 half marathons, that she can recall, numerous 10-milers, 10k's & 5k's and other fun distances.
Kelli says, “Sydnee and I will #OptOutside this year because there is nothing of quality that you can experience shopping for the season's hottest items. For us #OptOutside is about spending quality mother/daughter time together. We will start the day off running a few miles together with other members of Black Girls Run! Chicago followed by swimming laps in the pool as Sydnee prepares for her first indoor triathlon.
