WHO: Kile's World Foundation WHAT:  The Kile's World Foundation will be hosting its first "Give Thanks 5K Run/Walk". Early registration is $35 (before Nov. 11). Early registrants will receive a t-shirt. Late registration (after Nov. 11) is $37.50. The Foundation wishes to cultivate an environment where developing artists can explore their artistic interests with the guidance and support of the foundation's mentors. HOW: Register online at http://kilesworld5krunwalk.eventbrite.com/. Use discount code "BGR" for $5 off your entry! YOU SHOULD CARE BECAUSE:
  1. Do we really have to give you a reason?
  2. If we must, Researchers find that sustained learning in music and theater correlates strongly with higher achievement in both math and reading.
  3. The arts hold a special place near and dear to our hearts and we are blessed to be able to share our creativity with the world every day!
  4. We ALL have something to be thankful for! Bring your friends and family for a fun post-Thanksgiving feast run!
  5. You will probably eat too much turkey and need to run it off.
  6. It's another opportunity to run with the BGR! crew! Enough said!
Learn more about The Kile's World Foundation on Facebook and Twitter. ABOUT KILE’S WORLD FOUNDATION The Kile’s World Foundation intends to offer comprehensive art education to children ranging from ages 10-17; focusing on music, performing, fine and applied arts. Kile’s World Foundation offers art-based camps with multiple workshops including general instruction in the areas of acting, singing, dance, painting, illustration, music production and digital media. Kile’s World Foundation is poised to eventually open a magnet school with an emphasis on music and the arts. The Foundation wishes to cultivate an environment where developing artists can explore their artistic interests with the guidance and support of our mentors. “Kile is and will always be my muse, he inspires me to do great things both artistically and in general to help others. He was a guiding genius,” says Raymond. The desire of Kiles’ World Foundation is to give young artists the priceless opportunity to be taught and encouraged while developing their skills with great leadership and support. Kile Ishmael Glover was a prodigy who loved, created and exercised many forms of art. He acted in stage productions, wrote, produced and performed music. Kile was also a budding visual artist; painting abstract art, designing CD covers for his own music and photography. To honor Kile, his mother, Tameka Raymond plans to carry out her son’s well-laid legacy by fulfilling the blueprint that he set with his infinite devotion to the arts.
