BGR! Charleston participated in the 9th Annual Mom’s run, which helps raise money for postpartum depression awareness. Eighteen women came out to participate in the run. This was Lourenza Green’s and Toni Singleton first 5K run and they both did such an awesome job. We were all really proud of her! Seven women ran their personal best: Yvonne Meeriweather, Lyn and Yvonne Yancy, Trieva Luster, Kenosha Gleaton, Dee and Latessia Grice. Three women placed in the race in their age group: Georgette Mayo won, Leonis Wright placed second and Eboni Webber placed third. It was such an amazing morning and for an amazing cause. BGR! Charleston definitely represented this Mother’s Day weekend in a major way.
