I finally did it! After nine months of tears, sweat and what seems like $1,000 spent on hair products, I have transitioned from the creamy crack to the au naturale. I have to admit, I’m in love with my new hair, or better yet, the hair God gave me. So far here is what I enjoy about being natural.guest post. 3. Healthier Hair – When I had a perm, my hair’s best friends were the blow dryer and flat iron. Since then, both of those tools have been collecting dust under the bathroom sink. After a few months of transitioning, I noticed that my hair seemed to be growing as fast as weeds. However, I’m sure that my hair isn’t growing any faster, I just have less breakage and I’m maintaining length. I know that natural hair is not for everyone, but I’m so happy that I made the transition.
