What’s better than having fun and burning calories at the same time? The best answer is running, but another answer is dancing! Dancing is a great way to shed calories, weight, and of course energy. Whether you try to do the newest dance from a music video, taking it back to the old days, or making up your own, you can use dancing to your advantage.
A good way to make sure you maximize the benefits of using dancing as a workout is to sign up for a dance class. Choosing a dance class as opposed to purchasing a video allows you to get a close up experience with other folks shedding weight and the instructor can have the opportunity to motivate you and keep you up to speed with what is going on in class. He or she can serve as your coach for having fun for about an hour! Sometimes you may not even feel like you’ve burned fat and calories because you’re having such a good time!
So search for a dance studio or dance class at your neighborhood gym and sign up for a class. Most dance studios have classes for all levels and of course, there are so many types of dance classes like Hip-Hop, Jazz, Salsa, Ballet, African, and Zumba. So shimmy your way into a dance class and most importantly, shimmy off those calories.
